My Top 3 Favorite Murals in Eastwood

Whenever I am out to work or travel, I am always in a hunt for murals. They color the streets, transforming a plain wall to an artist’s playground. Some places such as Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Poblacion in Makati, and UP Town Mall in Katipunan have these. Like the aforementioned places, Eastwood shares some street art pieces, including my favorite instragrammable murals by Kookoo Ramos. They are so beautiful that I had to write a blog about it.

Splashed with yellow and blue-green, this mural above reminds me of my favorite comic book Hunghang Flashbacks.

What I love about this art are the scribbles painted on the woman’s face. It seemed like a love letter from the sixties, giving that vibes of a senyora writing a letter to her lover.

This woman with red-violet hair is my favorite among Kookoo’s works. The woman’s hair color complements to the green-blue background very well.

Murals exist in every corner of the metro, and I am always there to capture every bit of them, especially those that seem to tell a story. If you know any murals like these around the metro, let me know.
