Pastel and Pastries: Vanilla Cupcake Bakery

Vanilla Cupcake Bakery is this really bright restaurant that outshines its nearby competitors in Bonifacio Global City. Their fancy red door invites pastel lovers like me to enter and try their pastries, quite like how the witch lured Hansel and Gretel in her candy house, only the Vanilla Cupcake Bakery is no fraud.

From places like Cainta, Taytay, and Binangonan, ride a Crossing jeep and get off at either Life Homes or Rosario Tulay. There are UVs there going to Market Market. Then, ride a BGC Bus Central Route and get off at Nutriasia. Walk toward Seventh Avenue as Vanilla Cupcake Bakery is only two minutes away.

As for me, I walked from Market Market up to this place. You wouldn’t get bored walking anyway. There are so much to see in BGC.

The interiors are aesthetically pleasing, with pastel ceramic mugs and unique chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. From pillows and chairs to walls and cabinets, the whole restaurant is decorated with all kinds of pastel. Perfect for pastel-loving souls out there! And don’t worry, they have a nice comfort room.

I heard they have branches in Quezon City and Muntinlupa; good thing there is one in Taguig that is accessible for people in the East like me.

The first time I went here way back 2016, I remember ordering their truffle pasta but cannot recall whether I liked it or not. This time, I only had their java chocolate mousse for Php 148 and vanilla pink cupcake for Php 98. While the drink was just average, the cupcake fulfilled my craving for sweets.

I can’t wait to go back and try their roast beef. See more of their menu here.
